Arrow Protein Info

Proteins are the building blocks of humans. Humans need approximately 1 gram per kilo of body weight per day. Proteins are made up of smaller molecules joined together, known as amino acids. There are approximately 20 amino acids, some of which can be synthesized by humans and some can not be synthesized and must be supplied in diet, known as EAA, Essential Amino Acids.

As proteins are the building blocks of humans, they are the most important part of out food. Without protein we can not survive. We can survive without fat of carbohydrate as they can be synthesized from other foods e.g. fat can be synthesized from carbohydrates and carbohydrates can be synthesized from protein.
