Default Pancreas problems

Few months back i have seen and realized the surgical operation in pancreas is highly risky, although the statistics are not given in the standard surgery text books.
Almost all the sugrical interventions done in as many patients have major complication.

Pancreas is also responsible for common chronic disease such as diabetes. Diabetes results when pancreas can nor secrete/produce enough insulin, the hormone required for carbohydrate metabolism.
